US Made Toys Seeing Rise In Sales
The Times has a great article featuring one company that makes wooden trains in the USA! This father son team at Whittle Shortline Railroad is making the most of the new fears over Chinese Manufacturing flubs like LEAD PAINT. Being that the Times never features links to these types of places like we bloggers are so faithful at doing, I did some digging myself. They can be found here.
Remember The Little Engine That Could? “I THINK I can, I THINK I can…”, I grew up with that one! They carry it!

I couldn’t be MORE pleased. My boys are obsessed with buses, trains, planes, trucks, cars, and anything related to transport. These products are beautiful. Forget Thomas and Brio!
Consider this company when it comes time to buy toys! They are a bit more expensive than cheaper versions- though competitive with Thomas & Friends. However, if you are banning Chinese goods like I am, you are saving enough money to buy a more expensive toy here and there anyway!
