Update & Open Heart
I have been rather swamped and not posting much. Let alone not researching as much as I would like to for this blog. And to be honest there are days I waak up and wonder if I’m crazy doing this. I mean, I’m not typically this activist driven. And will the world even hear me? I have 2 little ones to care for and sometimes feel alone in this fight. BUT I always receive an email from my site soon after. At bare minimum I get one of these emails a day.
They go something like this:
“I found your site and I am so glad you are doing this. This cause is so important and it is refreshing to find like-minded people. “
Through this I’m also discovering manufacturers with the same drive to preserve human rights. People determined to uphold standards of high ethical value in their companies. I feel blessed to have this mission, but also overwhelmed.
For this reason I am going to put something out there. If this is something you have a passion for and you love to write… I invite you to apply to be a regular blogger for me. No, this is not a paid position. Certainly right now as I’m spending more doing it than I am making. But I know that there are like-minded people… and I know I can not build the content this site needs all by myself. I have already been quite open to guest posting etc. But now I’m asking, would any of you like to write regularly. Let’s talk. Let’s see if we are on the same page. I need partners. Passion-driven, human-rights driven, people willing to speak out and think outside the box.

Please do not get discouraged! Thank you so much for this site. I was SO ignorant of the terror in China before your site. I am thankful that I can now be more vigilant about not buying China-made products. I am horrified at the human rights violations and I am spreading the word to anyone who will listen. I thank you and my family thanks you.
Exactly why this thing is a good idea. If you personally never posted again just the info that’s already on here would be worth keepin the thing up. Fer sure, don’t burn yourself out. Even posting once a month would be fine. Like you’re doing, maybe get a couple other folks on board and all together post maybe a couple things a month. Doesn’t have to be a labor-intensive thing, just please keep it going, if possible. Good stuff.
Oh my goodnes, I just came across your site tonight. I agree completely, and actually for the past 3-4 years I’ve made it a point to buy American-made products. I’m compiling a list of quality products that are made in America. I’d love any suggestions that you have to help spread the word. I don’t get any money or anything from the products or companies. I honestly just want to bring more recognition to hard working American people - and keep more jobs at home. (as well as the obvious safety issue) Come check it out!
